Join a group ride you were invited to

Join a group ride from a push invite, a shared link, or a QR code, and land straight on the shared live map with the route already set.

Applies to: Android and iPhone

    Open the invite. Tap the push notification invite, or open the link or scan the QR code the leader shared with you.

    Tap Join. Review the ride, then tap Join to accept the invite.

    Land on the live map. You drop onto the shared live map with the rest of the crew, navigated to the destination.

If it does not work

Ride is not available to join. The leader has already ended the ride, so the invite is no longer live. Ask them to start the ride again and re-send the invite.

If you join after the group has set off, that is fine. Late joins are navigated straight to the destination so you can catch up. If the invite will not open at all, check your connection and make sure you are on the latest version of RideClan.

FAQ

I got the invite late. Can I still join?

Yes. As long as the leader has not ended the ride, you can join at any time. You will be navigated to the destination and appear on the live map with everyone else.

Do I need the app open to receive the invite?

No. Push invites arrive even when RideClan is closed, as long as notifications are allowed. Tapping the notification opens the ride.
