Start a Ride Now group ride

Start a group ride that kicks off right now and pushes an invite to your group so they can tap it and jump onto your live map.

Applies to: Android and iPhone

    Tap the Ride button. On the map home, tap Ride to start planning.

    Pick your ride. Choose Destination or Quick, then choose Squad so it is a group ride.

  3. 3

    Start now. Confirm the ride to begin immediately. There is nothing to schedule for later.

    Your group gets pinged. RideClan pushes an invite to your group. When they tap it, they land on your live map.

If it does not work

If your group does not get the invite, make sure they have notifications allowed and are on the latest version of RideClan. You can always re-share the invite link or QR code directly from the ride so anyone can join.

FAQ

What is the difference between Ride Now and inviting first?

Ride Now starts the ride immediately and sends the invite at the same time, so riders join a ride that is already live. It is the fastest way to get a spontaneous crew moving.
