Your garage and stats
Leaderboard and ride stats explained
Applies to: Android and iPhone
What your ride stats mean
- Distance is how far you rode, shown in kilometers or miles based on your units setting.
- Moving time is the time you spent actually riding, with stops and idle time removed.
- Average speed is your distance divided by your moving time, so long stops do not drag it down.
- Top speed is the fastest speed recorded during the ride.
- Lean is how far you leaned the bike into corners, captured from your phone sensors.
- Elevation is the climb and descent along your route.
How the leaderboard works
The leaderboard ranks riders by city and by club, so you are compared with people who ride where you ride and with your own crew. Your recorded rides feed your ranking. Set your home city in your profile so you land in the right city board.
If it does not work
If a ride shows 0 km or missing stats, GPS was likely off or blocked. Make sure location is allowed and that RideClan can keep tracking while the screen is off, then ride again.
FAQ
Why is my average speed lower than it felt?
Average speed uses your full distance over moving time. A fast stretch still averages out with slower sections and traffic.
Do I need turn-by-turn to get stats?
No. Recording a ride captures your distance, speed, lean, and elevation whether or not you are following navigation.
How do I switch between km and miles?
Change your units in Settings. Your stats and the leaderboard follow that setting.
