After the ride

Combine rides into a Trip

A Trip stitches several rides into one, so a multi-day tour or a there-and-back weekend reads as a single route with combined totals.

Applies to: Android and iPhone

  1. 1

Open the Rides tab. Tap Rides in the bottom bar to reach your ride hub.

  2. 2

Tap Combine rides into a trip. This starts a Trip and lets you pick the rides to include.

  3. 3

Pick 2 or more rides. Select the rides you want to group together, then confirm.

  4. 4

Find it in the Trips section. Your new Trip appears in the Trips section on the Rides tab.

  5. 5

Open the Trip. Tap the Trip to see its route, totals, and the rides included in it.

Manage a Trip

Open a Trip and use the header menu for Add rides, Rename, and Delete. Add rides only from inside the Trip, so once a Trip exists you build it up from within, not from the main rides list.

How member rides behave

When you add a ride to a Trip, it folds into the Trip. The Trip becomes the place you view those rides together, with one route and one set of totals across all of them. Deleting a Trip removes the grouping, not your underlying rides.

If it does not work

If Add rides or Rename does not seem to stick, close and reopen the Trip and try again, and make sure you have a connection. If changes still do not save, update the app and email us.

FAQ

How many rides can a Trip hold?

A Trip needs at least two rides, and you can keep adding more from the Add rides option in the Trip header menu.

Does deleting a Trip delete my rides?

No. Deleting a Trip only removes the grouping. The individual rides stay in My Rides.

Can I add a ride after the Trip is made?

Yes, but only from inside the Trip. Open it and choose Add rides from the header menu.
