Export a ride as GPX

Open a ride. From the Rides tab, tap the ride you want to export.

Export GPX. Choose the GPX export option for that ride.

Choose what to include. On a group ride, export just your own track or all riders on the ride.

Send or save the file. Use your phone's share sheet to save the GPX or send it wherever you need it.
Your track privacy is trimmed near home
Before a GPX leaves RideClan, the track is trimmed near home so the exported file does not reveal your start or end address. You get the route of the ride without pinning your doorstep.
Exporting a group ride
On a group ride you can export just your own line or every rider on the ride, which is handy for sharing the crew's route after a ride out.
If it does not work
If a GPX looks short or is missing the start, that is the privacy trim near home working as intended. If the file will not open in another app, confirm that app accepts GPX, and re-export if the ride had almost no recorded track.

Which apps open a GPX from RideClan?
GPX is a standard route format, so most mapping and route-planning apps can open the file you export.
Why is the start of my route cut off?
The track is privacy-trimmed near home, so the exported file leaves out the section closest to your start and end.
