Account

Delete your account and data

You can delete your RideClan account and its data at any time. Here is how to do it and what gets removed.

Applies to: Android and iPhone

  1. 1

Open Settings. Go to Settings from your profile.

  2. 2

Tap Delete account. Find and tap Delete account.

  3. 3

Confirm. Confirm the request. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets removed

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your profile: name, display name, home city, and profile photo
  • Your bikes (garage) and their photos
  • Your rides, ride history and stats, and recorded GPS location samples
  • Ride photos you uploaded
  • Your group and club memberships, and any SOS events tied to you
  • Saved places, notification tokens, and your sign-in record

Groups or clubs you created are not deleted while other members remain. Ownership is passed to another member so their rides and data are kept. A group or club with no other members is removed.

Delete from the web instead

You do not need the app to start this. You can also request deletion at ride-clan.com/delete-account, which explains the process, the timeframe, and what may be retained for legal reasons.

If it does not work

If you cannot reach Delete account in the app, request it at ride-clan.com/delete-account or email us and we will action it for you.

FAQ

Can I undo it?

No. Deletion is permanent. You would need to create a new account to use RideClan again, and past rides cannot be recovered.

Is any data kept?

We may keep limited records where the law requires it, plus anonymized aggregate stats that cannot identify you. See the delete-account page and Privacy Policy for detail.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] with your device, app version, and the ride time, and we will help.
